What is the weather of Czech Republic in early November and what are your travel tips?
Filed Under Travel Talk | 2 Comments
I will be going to Czech Republic on November 1, 2008 for 2 weeks and I would like to know how is the weather there?
What kind of clothes that I should get? (I am from a all-summer country, Malaysia, so I have not experience winter before)
Which places are worth visiting?
What kind of cuisine that I must try there?
What other travel tips on Czech Republic?
Anything else that I should be aware of? Is Czech a safe place for tourist?
Thank you for your help!

I’m going and need some real advice from real people that have been there. I’ve looked at books and stuff but they’re all the same and say the exact same thing.

We are taking our first road trip to Amarillo, TX to visit my husband’s family with our 2 month old son. It is an 8 hour drive from where we live. I am a little nervous about this new experience, not to mention that we are leaving after my husband gets off of work which is my son’s fussy time. Does anyone have any tips to making this trip a little easier?
Thanks

There are a lot of exotic theories floating around for future star travel: ion drive (slow, but reliable); solar sails; laser propulsion; nuclear fusion drives. None of these are phony Star Trek warp drives (doesn’t make ANY scientific sense–they’d be crushed to death!), but which one is the most feasible?

Does anyone know how to get the best deal on flights? I’ve looked on Priceline and Orbitz and the prices are decent($200 one-way, 1 person, 1 stop, 5 hrs. all together) but I was wondering if there was a miracle site I didn’t know about.

We’re driving from Baltimore to Boston (about 8-9 hours) and I need some suggestions on cost effective ways to keep my 18 month old son entertained/fed. We don’t eat fast food so those things are out of the question and we try to keep things pretty healthy. Is there a website available that can help us plan our route so we can plan on places to eat that don’t include rest stops?
Thanks!

How can I get a job that pays well but combines international travel?
Filed Under Travel Talk | Leave a Comment
I want to do Law at Uni but I don’t want to be stuck in the U.K. Can I get a job that still pays well but still lets me indulge in my love of sun and international travel. I love to explore the more exotic and obscure corners of the globe as well as sunnier spots like the USA and Australia. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
I wasn’t really thinking concern and money isn;t that big a deal - what could I do? Work for a charity, tourism, the UN, diplomat etc. Any more suggestions?

Travel ideas?

Does anybody know of any cool but, inexpensive places to travel around Cincinnati, Ohio? We don’t want to travel too far [more than six hours] or spend a ton of money. Something like Hocking Hills would be awesome - that kind of setting w/ cabins to rent and stuff.. But, we go to Hocking Hills all the time so we kind of wanted to try somewhere else similar to it.
